Paediatric Satellite Symposium
Thursday 16 May to Saturday 18 May

We are delighted to offer the first Paediatric Satellite Symposium since 2017. The symposium will include continuing education through plenary talks, a forum to share difficult cases and engage in peer-to-peer learning, with the support of an international expert, Dr Marinka Twilt. Multi-disciplinary team members will have the opportunity to learn how to better support children, youth and their families live with a chronic illness and communication and collaboration will be facilitated between paediatric rheumatology multi-disciplinary team members across Australasia, with a particular focus improving patient/family care and education.

Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Workshop
Friday 17 May
Following on from the Hobart meeting in 2023, AMISIG is delighted to host a further musculoskeletal ultrasound workshop. We will be reviewing scanning technique for common joints needed for Rheumatologists and will be reviewing ultrasound features seen in Sjogren's syndrome. There will also be a focus on vascular ultrasound for evaluation and diagnosis of GCA facilitated by Australian and New Zealand expert Rheumatologists. We are again fortunate to have the support from internationally renowned sonographer Stephen Bird.

Please ensure you have some prior musculoskeletal ultrasound experience to get the most out of the workshop.

Advanced Trainee Preceptorship

This is open to current trainees and those within two years of graduation i.e. a five-year span.
Other NZRA and ARA members are not eligible to attend.

Allied Health Symposium

We are thrilled to offer a pre-conference meeting for Allied Health professionals. Topics will include the digital arthritis platform (ATLAS) and medication adherence. This is a good opportunity to network with both New Zealand and Australian health professionals, share our experiences and learn from each other.

Cancellation Policy

Should you need to cancel your registration for any reason, you may reassign your registration to another person. Please notify The Conference Company of the replacement delegate's name and contact details. If you are unable to arrange a replacement, a refund (less an administration charge of $150) will be made, providing notification is received by Friday 29 March.
